The dense green of the Amazon rain forest, the yellow ochre of the Dhakla desert, the bright blue skies of Ireland, and the crimson Moorish details on the houses of Andalusia: these are the inspirations for the unusual colour choices for some of the elements in the Incontrada line. Incontrada was designed for those who love to travel, for those seduced by the atmosphere of exotic distant lands; wistful yearnings, nostalgic memories, lulled by the recollection of a train’s rhythmic clatter in some far-off land. A welcoming country style atmosphere, where traditional rural pieces find their natural place alongside unexpected souvenirs collected during exotic travels.
The cabinet doors recall the carriage walls of old locomotive trains, wooden slats stained in rich tones. The flat cabinet hinges echo the same style, and can be chrome finished or painted to match the doors. In contrast with the solid wood, brass rods are hung with sliding hooks for towels, pot holders and dish cloths. The cabinets surround the large solid table, the true focal point in any real country kitchen. The Incontrada line has a time-worn atmosphere, especially in the detailing which enhances the exclusive style, like the kitchen sink in marble or natural stone, or the painted bell that recalls old railway stations. The small drawers for cutlery /flatware and kitchen utensils bear a numbered plaque like those used to mark 19th century train seats.
