I've worked with manufacturing companies for over 20~ years now but I've been in the wheel forging industry for cars. Tl;dr though, the industry is sinking right now because cars are switching to probably cheaper machine-made wheels rather than traditionally forged wheels.

So, I'm looking to make a career shift. Aside from the upper-middle to upper class–how does everyone else feel with metallurgic displays and decors at home?

Think metal frames for fireplaces, metal railings for stairs, or even metal shelves?

Just trying to see if a shift like this is actually logical.
