As much as I am a big fan of vintage furniture–a word of caution to everyone; don't/avoid purchasing it online! If you can, find a physical location where you can inspect the furniture yourself. Pictures nowadays are very deceptive and can be far from the actual condition of the product. Personally, I've experienced it first hand.
If you are going to push through with purchasing online, have the seller go to a vintage furniture appraiser/expert (if they haven't already) and get it checked. Make sure to get a signed document or certificate that states the piece of furniture is legitimate and actually vintage. This'll save you from any heartache or problems lol.
