Ethan Allen furniture

We're looking at Ethan Allen furniture. I know it was considered good quality years ago. Does anyone have any experience with it recently?

I bought EA furniure years ago (25-30 yrs) - pine collection and then their cherry canova collection, still using it. Our son and daughter bought some of their funiture because of this about 10 years ago and it was terrible. Ethan Allan went to a lower quality furniture and it really shows. Many pieces had to be replaced or fixed. Quality is not the same as it was. Would never buy it again.

Unfortunately like most US furniture companies everything is made in China and the quality is not there. Just bought a house full of furniture, different brands, all from China, couldn't find any made in US. Had problems with some of it, brand didn't matter. Some minor problems some major.
