I plan to install a new kitchen sink.
But, I'm having trouble deciding if I want a double bowl or single bowl.
Can you please help us with our final choice by giving me more information on this topic?

With a double bowl kitchen sink, the obvious advantage is two separate bowls. Not only does that help when hand-washing dishes, it also helps if you plan to install a garbage disposer. Having a dedicated disposer bowl can really help with your daily grind.
However, a single bowl kitchen sink offers a larger work area since there is no dividing wall. All this extra space is great for washing large pots and pans.
Since both styles have advantages, as you mentioned this can be a difficult decision. But, a new style kitchen sink called a "smart divide" may solve your issue. The sink features a dividing wall that is about half the height as a standard double bowl sink. With shallow separate basins at the bottom and more upper area working room, a smart divide kitchen sink may be able to wash all your troubles away.
