16.03.2011 | The bronze glass Warendorf kitchen entitled "Elegant Fascination" and the Starck by Warendorf "Library" kitchen have been declared Interior Innovation Award Winners 2011 by the Design Council. The Design Council praised the Warendorf kitchens as outstanding innovations and awarded them the highest valued design prize in the furnishing sector. Their charm and representation demonstrated uniqueness and product differentiation. Library - a source of inspiration for body and soul Starck by Warendorf Library is a kitchen that exudes the atmosphere of a library. It is a a place for nourishing body and soul. The version of Library that won the Interior Innovation Award features a combination of opaque white and pale olive smooth lacquer. This Library version radiates a special feeling of lightness, and therefore expresses something quite unique. The Library kitchen takes its name from, and is characterised by, the shelves around the kitchen cabinets and the surrounding library ladder. Whether classically stocked with cooking utensils or with books: the transition between cooking and living becomes fluid. The niche is in opaque white with two niche shelves as storage space with integrated light sources which illuminate both the top and bottom of the niche. And what is more, the trumpet table provides adequate space for preparing meals as a dining table, and reveals a considerable amount of storage space behind its olive-coloured pull-out fronts. The colour design gives the kitchen living room a puristic and almost light atmosphere in which you will enjoy relaxing and spending time.
