It's probably a silly question, but what exactly is the 2nd light in the bathroom for? All 3 of my bathrooms have the big strip of lighting over the mirror, and then a 2nd single bulb in the ceiling that flickers when I turn it on. What's the purpose for this?

Bright, clean white light such as halogen spots to create maximum light, a single, focused shower downlight is ideal for when you just want to illuminate the shower area – to task lighting such as that attached to a mirror for personal grooming.
We love to spent many of hours in the bathroom. We love to do many of task in the bathroom like applying make up, shaving, styling hair etc. So we need a right kind of light to accomplish these task.
