Hertz Furniture is a fourth-generation, family-owned business. We began in the lumber industry in the late 1800s and branched out to the creation of an institutional and educational furniture manufacturing operation in Toronto, Canada in 1952. In 1966, we moved our operations from Canada to the United States with the continued focus on providing quality furniture at affordable prices. It was with this philosophy that we began Hertz Furniture, a mail-order company serving the religious, educational, and corporate markets.
