Our location in the "High Peaks" of the Adirondacks allows us to provide the finest the park has to offer. Most of our products are made by artisans in, or near the Adirondacks. Those that are not have been selected for their superior quality.

Adirondack Custom Twig is a family run business, specializing in ornate Adirondack style twig work. William and Elaine Betrus have been Adirondack Custom Twig since 1998. We have been building rustic furniture and fixtures all of our lives. Our art can be seen at the prestigious Lake Placid Lodge in Lake Placid N.Y., or online at www.adirondacktradingpost.com, or "www.adirondackcustomtwig.com . We have shown at the Western Design Conference in Cody, Wyoming, as well as many years in the Rustic Furniture Show at the Adirondack Museum, Blue Mountain Lake, N.Y..
Our workshops are located in the remote Adirondack Park of upstate New York. Growing up in and around the Great Camps of the Adirondacks, has provided us with diverse prospective, and exposure to this unique art form. Our proximity to Lake Placid, and the high peaks allows us to enjoy many different venues. We have strong family values, and are involved in many outdoor activities. Our children particularly like to ice skate on the Olympic Speed Skating Oval, and Ski at Whiteface Mountain. We enjoy researching the architectural history, and culture of this area. We also enjoy what we do.
