ID:	10031The pipe bursting technique is an easy and fast technique that uses the technology to replace the old pipes with the new ones. The technique does not require the change of floor or tiles of that area, as the technique uses a small hole to install new pipe.

In this technique, specialized equipment is used to fracture the old pipe using an expander head that expands the old pipe and presses it into the surrounding. The old pipe is pressed to make it accommodate in the surroundings while making room for the new pipe.

There are five key components used in order to replace the old pipe. These are expander head, pulling rods, retaining devices, pulling machinery, and the hydraulic power pack. These are special tools with specific use of each of them.

An expert at ADP Toronto plumbing explains that the technique is very effective.
The pipe is replaced by a new pipe with a radius that is 75% of the old pipe. It makes it very easy to replace the pipes with this technique and there is no damage to the floor or the walls. Here is a brief review of the whole process.

The pipe is cut using a small head that goes inside the pipe with a narrow end at the front and the wide end at the rear. The narrow head goes inside. When forced inside and rotated using a hydraulic power pack, it pushes and rotates the head inside the pipe. The wide rear end of the pipe breaks the pipe and makes room for the new pipe to enter.

The new pipe is attached to the end and is installed in place of the old pipe. The pulling rods and pulling machinery draws these pipes inside the space made by the expander head. All these devices work together to push the pipe inside while the rotating expander head cuts through the old pipes.

It is the most effective and efficient method to install new pipes in the old bore wells, pipes installed on ground etc. However, it is not recommended to use this technique inside the concrete or any other hard surface. As there is no room for the pipe to expand, it makes it much harder to cut through and make room for new pipe.

Even when we are able to install new pipe, there are changes of new pipe being damaged during the process. The whole point of changing the pipes is to avoid the leakage and install an undamaged pipe.
While it is not recommended to use it on hard areas, it is recommended to use this technique in areas, which are soft.

There are a huge number of advantages of using the technique to install new pipes:

· Damage free method

· No breaking of floor or wall

· No noise of breaking

· In soft soil, the diameter of the pipe can even be increased up to 150%

· Saves time and money

This technique ensures a very safe, risk free and easy replacement of the pipes. Moreover, once you compare the quote of the pipes, you will never choose another option.
