Is a bunk bed too childish?

My parents are buying new furniture and I was thinking about getting a bunk bed. I'll be having this bed til I leave my parents when i'm older lol. I'm not very tall nor will I ever be so that wouldn't be a problem. Also I think it might be kinda lame being a high school girl with a bunk bed that I don't even need to share with anyone (unless I have a friend sleep over).
