A long empty wall can be made into a central point by grouping pictures over a long narrow table in the home. Place a desk under a window to take benefit of the natural light .Place a curved item in a corner to lessen the angle of the room. A corner cupboard or curio cabinet is a magnificently functional and decorate it allot many more things.

An architect's plan will indicate where they go in relation to the corners, but double-check to make sure the openings are in the right places.

Pictures always have this wow effect in every home. It truly makes a house a home in an instant. For a small area with long empty walls, a mirror can also give an illusion of a bigger space. :) - anna

Another idea is to make it more personalized by having your family members paint something they can hang on that wall.

Lighting is one of the most unseen and yet important elements of good interior design After all, there is little point in creating luxury environment if they cannot then be appreciated properly or if there is insufficient light to be able to carry out even the most basic of tasks.
