These cradles served as supports for the jet fuel tanks in the KC-97 Stratotanker that is based on the famous B-29 Bomber. These tankers kept our planes in the air 24 hours a day during the crucial Cold War decade of the fifties. MotoArt has customized the cradle into an attractive and historical "L" shaped desk. Each cradle desk may include polished aluminum or powder coat finishes. 1/2" tempered glass tops are supported by 1" square polished aluminum bar.
