Hertz Furniture is a fourth-generation, family-owned business. We began in the lumber industry in the late 1800s and branched out to the creation of an institutional and educational furniture manufacturing operation in Toronto, Canada in 1952. In 1966, we moved our operations from Canada to the United States with the continued focus on providing quality furniture at affordable prices. It was with this philosophy that we began Hertz Furniture, a mail-order company serving the religious, educational, and corporate markets.
Hertz Furniture currently maintains an informational and e-commerce website, a robust outside sales staff in key locations nationwide, a Government Contracts Department and an annual catalog mailed to schools, religious institutions and businesses throughout the country. We are proud holders of some of the most sought-after furniture contracts in the USA and maintain corporate offices in California and New Jersey.
