The CNX is a fully automatic, hopper-feed CNC lathe. The one piece heavy duty cast iron frame guarantees a stable solid base, which assures high precision and quality turnings.
The machine is equipped with 3 axis plus head drive controlled by CNC system, 2 axes cross-sectional CNC (axis “A” or roughing copier and axis “X” or finishing copier), 1 axis to control the saddle position and 1 axis to control the headstock rotation by the CNC .
The machine is also equipped with 2 form tool-holder turrets, 1 hydraulic unit to make round and adjust the wood in the steady and 1 feeder unit to automatically feed square timber up to 140x140.
As an option can be equipped with a milling drive head for twisting and fluting controlled by a CNC. Moreover, is also possible to add another programme in the machine which allows to turn by the roughing copier and then twisting or fluting by the finishing copier where there will be a drive head milling assembled.
