Log To Legacy owned and operated by Ed Babcock, chainsaw sculptor extraordinaire. Here you will be able to view examples of Ed's work, read about his techniqué, and order your own original sculpture by this very talented artist. The name "Log To Legacy" was chosen because of the great detail each of Ed's carvings has, and the quality of each sculpture. His goal is that each sculpture and carving will become a piece to be passed on to future generations.
Ed Babcock lives in the center of the United States. He has been sculpting with his chainsaw for 10 years. He crafts his work from everyday sights and sounds.
When a tornado stormed through a mile south of where he lived, he sculpted a wooden tornado... When a raccoon took up residence nearby, a raccoon showed up in a sign crafted for a customar, along with an eagle, squirrel, and owl.
Land turtles, with brightly painted shells made a lady's flower garden the envy of the neigborhood.
The over 6' tall greyhound dog was a mascot for a local junior college and was made for the main entrace hall.
A baseball glove was made for the Negro Hall of Fame in Kansas City...
The name "Log To Legacy" was chosen because of the great detail each of Ed's carvings has, and the quality of each sculpture. His goal is that each sculpture and carving will become a piece to be passed on to future generations.
He carves sculptures which will compliment your home, yard, patio, garden, entryway, porch, and deck, and will be the envy of all who are priviledged to see them.
