d-Bodhi captures a spirit of dynamic creativity in our eco-friendly teak wood furniture design and home furnishings. While most well known for our award winning furniture made from recycled or reclaimed teak wood, in fact, our company is not the products we make.
It's about people. It's our skilled craftspeople, our design team and managers. It's our valued customers, distributors and partners scattered all over the world.
As we continue to grow, one thing remains constant.
We're always looking to use and recycle materials that would normally be thrown out … creating fresh new products with that special d-Bodhi twist.

Background
After several years in the furniture trade working with recycled teak wood under a different name, the present d-Bodhi company began in November 2007, based in Singapore.
The 'd' in our name comes from Raymond Davids, our founder's last name. And 'Bodhi' is the Sanskrit word for 'enlightenment' or 'awakening,' as well as the symbol of the Bodhi Tree, the Tree of Wisdom.
This is our challenge and our calling. To create a range of premium product lines from the most humble materials that is beautiful, well crafted, sustainable, and keeps our ecological footprint to a minimum. To value our employees, our business partners, our distributors, and our end customers through sound business practices and strong customer service.
International Awards
Since our first appearance at the International Furniture Fair, Singapore in March 2008 – where we won the Best Dining Room Exhibit Award – we've won awards each year.
In 2009 for Best Bedroom Exhibit and in 2010 for Best Stand Award and Best Dining Room Award. In 2011, we won the Best Stand Award for the second year in a row.
Within four short years we expanded our distributors to 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Asia and North America.
An Eye on the Future
Since the beginning of d-Bodhi, our intention was to gradually grow into a broader lifestyle company, creating a range of products for a discerning clientele.
In a lively exchange of information at production headquarters each week, we brainstorm new d-Bodhi product ideas.
It might be a new design, or figuring out how to combine different materials together for a fresh look – like our recycled metal and teak wood lines. Or even new kinds of materials to use -- like the recycled denim jeans.
We continue to expand the home furnishings lifestyle product ranges. Beginning with organic cotton bed linens we added lounge sofas, bean bags, table linens and a variety of cushions to the mix.
We hope you'll join us for an ongoing voyage of discovery as we continue to bring you products with our distinctive design sensibility and innovative use of materials.
